The Programme and Organization Committees cordially invite you to attend and register for
the Second European Congress on Assertive Outreach, June 2013, Avilés, Spain.

The aim of the Second European Congress on Assertive Outreach is to stimulate the development of evidence-based and practice-based models of Assertive Outreach by starting
a European wide dialogue.

We gladly invite you to submit your Papers for workshops / symposia / oral presentations / posters / movies about how AO in each country is done.

The Programme and Organization Committees are busy to make a good and varied programme, which will contribute to an inspiring experience for every single visitor of this congress. To establish this we would like you to contribute to this programme. This will give you the opportunity to present your team or your working methods in a workshop.

Abstracts can be submitted online on the following conference sub-themes:

• 2. Models of Assertive Outreach including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Function Assertive Community Treatment (FACT)
• 3. Model fidelity
• 4. Target groups, (including different age groups, forensic, homeless or early psychosis patients)

• 7. Motivational problems
• 8. Strength based model
• 9. Rehabilitation, recovery and social inclusion
• 10. Participation of clients/ peer support
• 11. Crisis intervention
• 12. Continuity of care
• 13. Step down models
• 14. Implementation of other evidence-based practices within the context of Assertive Outreach
• 15. Cost-effectiveness

Within these themes there must be specific attention to the role of the client, its family and
the caretakers.
