F. (Fred) Koops MBA After completing his basic training in nursing, Fred Koops worked as a manager in different health care setting: mental health organisations, general hospitals, a psychiatric department of a general hospital and a university hospital. As an interim manager he reorganized the Rutgers Nisso Group, i.e. the Dutch Expert Centre on Sexuality. Most recently he was general director at the SymforaMeander centre for psychiatry. He obtained the title of Master in Health Administration (MHA) at the TiasNimbas Business School - Tilburg University. In 2000, he completed his training at the Lemniscate Institute in association with the University of Jönköping in Sweden, where he obtained his master degree in Business Administration (MBA). As chairman of the Sympopna Foundation (congress organisation), he brings to his ambition the lifelong education of mental health care workers on different levels. Currently he is also the owner/director of Frean Holding, institute for advice and management support in health care.
