Floor van Dijk Advisor of the board

Drs Floor van Dijk (1971) is a psychiatrist and director of Altrecht Aventurijn, a specialized, partly forensic, treatment center for people with severe externalizing behavior spectrum disorders. The center offers clinical and ambulant treatment for people with and without intellectual disability and for adolescents. Also an expertise Centre for aggression management is developed with focus on gaining and sharing knowledge on factors triggering and minimalizing aggression in externalizing spectrum disorders. Altrecht Aventurijn (together with Altrecht WA) started one of the first forensic ACT-teams in the Netherlands. Forensic ACT /FACT for people with mental disability will start in 2012. Floor van Dijk started working as a psychiatrist in an outreachend team for people with severe behavioral problems and intellectual disability. Afterwards she worked in an ambulant team for forensic treatment and in a forensic ACT-team.
